OUR VALUES
BELONGING
We love all people because all people are loved by God. You belong here! You are new only once, after that you’re family. We choose to see you not as you are, but as WHO God created you to be.
BIBLICAL PREACHING
We apply God’s word as our instruction manual, and not a suggestion box. We know God has something to say that is more encouraging and more relevant than anything we could ever come up with alone. Every action we take is first held up to the words of Jesus.
BUILDING TEAMS
We emphasize “WE” instead of “ME”. From our leadership teams to our serve teams, everything is done with the understanding that “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” If Jesus chose to advance his mission with teams, then so will we.
STRATEGIC FOCUS
We refuse to do anything beyond it’s effective expiration date. We have sold the sacred cows of empty tradition and purchased whatever does the most to please God. We say “no” to many good things so we can say “yes” to a few great things.
CREATIVE EXCELLENCE
We display God’s glory in everything we say, do, plan, print, and post. We won’t confuse excellence with the idolatry of perfectionism. We wont embarrass God with small dreams, weak plans, or half-hearted execution. “It’ll do, won’t do.”
KIDS + STUDENTS
We view Kids + Students not as the church of tomorrow, but as the church of today. We aim to exceed the expectations of our culture by going all-in towards their growth, development, and safety.
ALL NATIONS
We strive to be a snapshot of heaven: “Every tribe, language, and nation.” We believe the Church is better when all of God’s children gather under one roof. That’s when we become God’s mosaic masterpiece.
CHURCH UNITY
We hold tightly to Jesus and to each other. We won’t divide over personal preferences or major on the minors. We aim to live out Jesus’ departing wish; “to be one, just as He and the Father are one.”
COMMUNITY WITH OTHERS
We fight against anonymity in church. You don’t just live to fill a pew, but also to fill a purpose. We find that purpose while in community with others moving in the same direction.
INTIMACY WITH GOD
We believe that the climax of Christianity is found not in behavior modification, but in deep and satisfying intimacy with God. We create spaces and make room for “God-moments” every time we gather in the name of Jesus.
